An efficient and socially responsible place to work

Region Chief Executive
Bo Johansen
The most important resource for Central Denmark Region to ensure a high quality treatment for the citizens of our region – is our employees. This is why we keep particular focus on providing our employees with the best possible framework to develop both professionally and personally. To that purpose, each employee is invited to an appraisal interview once a year, to determine the need to develop individual skills, and agree upon a personal competence enhancement plan.
In Denmark we have a tradition for staff participation and flat organisational structure with close dialogue between management and staff. By way of example, employees are involved in the planning of duty hours, and the work schedule is always known one month in advance. Worker participation and influence is crucial for us to accomplish our responsibilities, and safe keep professional pride and satisfaction in our jobs. Furthermore, influence is formalized through cooperation agreements in the form of joint consultation committees and health and safety committees.
