Centre for Public Health

Centre for Public Health is specifically focused on research and development within the health care system. Moreover, a number of services are offered such as lifestyle cafés, training of professionals and diet-advice from dieticians. The aim of Centre for Public Health is to promote the health of the population and to increase the social equality in health.

Centre for Public Health is focused on transforming the latest knowledge about the public health into specific and targeted health efforts. Accordingly, Centre for Public Health is included in a number of networks consisting of researchers, practicians and decision-makers. Most of the activities at Centre for Public Health are conducted in cooperation with professionals from municipalities, universities, hospitals and Central Denmark Region.

Centre for Public Health has three specialist departments: 

    • Health Promotion and Disease Prevention 
    • Social Medicine 
    • Health Technology Assessment and Health Services Research
