Mobility and Transport

In Central Denmark Region, we collaborate with municipalities and the mobility company Midttrafik to offer more sustainable public mobility solutions that benefit both society and the climate. The region also works for green transport and efficient logistics. We reduce unnecessary driving and choose climate-friendly fuels.

• We travel more sustainably to meetings.
• We use green fuels.

• We change behaviour - carpooling, bicycling, and public transportation become the natural choice for business travels.
• All new tenders/purchases of passenger cars and vans are powered 100% by green fuels from 2025.
• Patient transport is powered by green fuels no later than 2030.
• Regional public transportation in Central Denmark Region is 100% CO2-neutral by 2030.
