Our work with social responsibility
In Central Denmark Region, we aim to be an attractive and socially responsible workplace with a sustainable working environment that promotes well-being and psychological safety as well as physical and mental health.
We have a diverse work community with a high professional pride and ongoing competence development. We are a good educational workplace for trainees and students, and we require proper pay and employment conditions from our suppliers. We consider life phases and are flexible in the way we organise the work.
Our ambitions
- We ensure a good working environment.
- We are a socially responsible and inclusive workplace.
- We contribute to diversity and a more balanced gender distribution among employees and leaders.
Our goals

- We prevent and reduce work accidents with absence by at least 25% by 2030 (measured as the number of work accidents with absence compared to 2024).
- We value and create opportunities for employment on special terms.
- We have at least 2% of employees on special terms (flexible jobs, wage subsidies, etc.).
- Our communication about professions, workplaces, and career opportunities always aims to attract different genders and age groups.
- We contribute to inspire more men to apply for health education programmes with a very uneven gender distribution.
